Scientific direction

Most recovery creams aren't designed. They're labeled.

SOOTHE was formulated under the direction of Dr. Marnie L. Peterson, PharmD, PhD, GALYNA's Chief Scientific Officer and a former tenured faculty member in pharmacology with 50+ peer-reviewed publications. The result is a topical recovery cream built around how the skin actually responds, not around a label.

A clean menthol cooling system delivers an immediate alpine-cool sensation, followed by a slow warming finish. Vitamins A, C, and E support the skin you apply it to. No mystery oils. No fragrance. The kind of ingredient discipline you get when a pharmacologist runs the lab.

What it's for

For every body that asks for something back the next morning.

SOOTHE was built for the daily, localized soreness an active life creates, in the gym, on the trail, behind a desk, or on the slopes. Just the spot, the day after, when you would rather not reach for the medicine cabinet.

01

Post-workout leg day

Squats, deadlifts, lunges — the muscles that file a complaint the next morning when you swing out of bed.

02

Mile-22 lower back

Long-run lumbar stiffness, the hip flexors that pay for the last quarter of a marathon.

03

Long-day-on-feet shifts

Nurses, baristas, line cooks, retail floors. The legs that have been vertical for ten hours.

04

Day-3 ski-trip quads

The legs that feel fine on day one, wrecked by day three, and still want to be on the lift on day four.

05

The hike-day after

14 miles with elevation, the calves and IT bands that tell you about it for two days.

06

Knees after a powder day

The morning-after-the-storm legs. Apply before you get out of bed and your floor stops sounding so far away.

How it works

Cool on contact. Warm underneath. Recovery on top.

A three-phase profile that tells you the actives are doing their job.
Apply, breathe, get back to your day.

Cool

Menthol activates an immediate cooling sensation on contact. A clean, alpine cool with no camphor and no eucalyptus reek.

Seconds 0–30

Warm

A slow, steady warming finish settles in as the menthol-and-vitamin blend conditions the area you applied it to.

Minute 1–4

Recover

Sustained, localized comfort where you put it. Vitamins A, C, and E plus hemp seed extract support the skin over the hours that follow.

Hours 1–6

What's in the jar

Receipts, not vibes.

Clean ingredient discipline and a topical-first formula, with scientific direction from a former tenured pharmacology faculty member. The proof points below.

Ingredients

Clean, intentional actives

Menthol for cooling, Vitamins A, C, and E for skin support, and hemp seed extract for conditioning. No mystery oils. No fragrance. No camphor or eucalyptus.

Delivery

Topical, not oral

Designed for the spot you put it on, not your whole system. No pills to swallow. Ships to most states.

Formulation

Designed, not labeled

Built by a pharmacologist around localized topical delivery. The reason it works where you apply it, not somewhere else.

Sensation

Cooling that doesn't reek

Alpine-clean cooling on contact, then a slow warming finish underneath. Vitamins A, C, and E condition the area. No camphor or eucalyptus reek. No medicine-cabinet smell.

Where it's from

Headquartered in Denver. Built for any body that asks for recovery.

GALYNA was founded by Toby Ripsom, a former NCAA Division I Nordic racer who competed internationally across a few countries and continents, and has collected the bill ever since: shoulder surgeries, muscle and bone repairs, and the steady inventory of small injuries that don't make the highlight reel. Now nearer mid-life with two young boys who test his body every day, he wanted a topical that actually absorbed and actually performed. We started by formulating it for bodies that pay the highest tax, endurance athletes and people who don't get to skip a day, because if it works on day four of a backcountry tour, it works on a Tuesday at sea level too. The mountains are the proving ground. The product is for everyone who asks their body for something the next day.
